摘要
Modern distributed industrial control systems need improvements in their dependability. In this paper we study different fault tolerant techniques applicable in distributed industrial control systems. Several fault tolerance levels are presented in order to improve the reliability and safety of these systems. AZ node level several spatial redundancy options are covered At system level we are going to present the use of checkpointing techniques in distributed industrial control systems. Theoretical and simulation results of these techniques are also commented.
