The observation of tensile superplasticity in nanocrystalline materials

摘要
The flow behavior of nanocrystalline Pb-62Sn and Zn-22Al alloys is reported Tensile superplasticity has been observed at room temperature in the nanocrystalline Pb-Sn alloy and at 393 K in the nanocrystalline Zn-Al alloy. The strain rare sensitivity value is similar to 0.45 for Pb-Sn alloy at room temperature, indicating a grain boundary sliding mechanism. The elongation at a strain rate of 4.8x10(-4) s(-1) is similar to 300% for the Pb-Sn alloy. (C) 1997 Acta Metallurgica Inc.
