Industry Expertise and Audit Quality Literature Review and Analysis

With the increasing competition in the audit market, auditors need to find an effectively competitive strategy to gain a competitive edge. Since the 1990s, the international "big six" accounting firms have to restructure its industry service line, and gradually move toward industry-specific development. In this paper, the brief review of relevant literature and evaluation of the industry expertise and audit quality could be an effective way to the accounting company going to the industry-specific development road.
