If small magnetic particles are suspended in fluid, which flow is measured by an electromagnetic flow meter, measurement error is appeared. The expressions for error depending on volume concentration, permeability and electric conductivity of particles are received earlier for the spherical particles and for an ideal electromagnetic flow meter with a rectangular duct and infinitely conductive large electrodes. These expressions are generalized for any form of a duct and electrodes and for any form of particles, if it is symmetrical with respect to axes of local rectangular coordinate system, related with particle. The partial errors, which appear inside particles and outside particles in active zone of flow meter, are investigated. The expressions of the error are presented assuming, that particles are spun in a flow. The particles of an elongated form are especial dangerous. If the electric conductivity and permeability are considerably greater in particles than in fluid, the error can exceed the volume concentration of particles nine or more times. If the point electrodes are being used, fluctuations of the signal increase.
