New heterocycle-based organic molecule with two-photon induced blue fluorescent emission

摘要
A new heterocycle-based quadrupolar molecule containing 2,5-diphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole as the pi-centre and two carbazoles as end units has been synthesized. It exhibits two-photon induced blue emission, and its two-photon absorption cross section in the femtosecond region is measured to be 239 x 10(-50) cm(4) s photon(-1) at a wavelength of 788 nm.
