摘要
This paper discusses how the creation of on-line classes has impacted one professor's on-campus instruction. Some of the ways on-campus classes were impacted were an inclusion of video snippets, focused discussion questions, lecture notes available electronically at the beginning of the semester, and using virtual meetings for projects. As we do not teach in a vacuum, what we use for on-line classes impacts both our knowledge in that forum and in our campus based forum. This paper serves as a discussion of how one novice created on-line classes and what impact those virtual classes had on campus based instruction from her perspective. The paper assists other novices in noting activities that they may conduct in their on-line classes and explore ideas that transfer to the on-campus classroom.
