摘要
Among all the manufacturing processes, machining process is a vital one for product manufacturing industry. For effective machining of any material, cutting fluids acts an important role for minimizing the effect of heat affected zone, production cycle time and machining cost. In this research paper, a review of the impact of machining process such as turning alongside with the application of hybrid nanofluids has been enlightened. Prior research studies related to utilization of hybrid nanofluids in turning operation were stated and discussed. The different methods for synthesis and characterization, factors like nanoparticle size, base fluid, mode of supply, lubrication pressure of hybrid nanofluids also stated in this review article. From the extensive review, it has been observed that during hybrid nanofluid turning, excellent cooling and lubrication produce better product surface quality as compared to other types of cooling conditions. Additionally, hybrid nanofluids also minimizes the tool wear rate, cutting force, cutting zone temperature. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
