摘要：
This paper describes the technology of Intrusion Detection and introduces the model of Intrusion Detection. AnaIysizes Host-Based Intrusion Detection System and Network-Based Intrusion Detection System in detail; compares each of their advantages and shortcomings. In pratice, people can choose appropriate Intrusion Detection System according to their necessaries. then, Pointing out Intrusion Detection System of the present has lots of shortage and discusses the future trends in the development of Intrusion Detection System Technologies.
