Effective atomic numbers of some vanadium and nickel compounds for total photon interactions using transmission experiments

摘要
Effective atomic numbers of V2O3, VO2, VF3, NH4 VO3, VF4, NiF2, NiCl2, NiF(2)4H(2)O, NiCl(2)6H(2)O, Ni(ClO4)(2) 6H(2)O were measured in the X-ray energy range 15.746-40.930 keV using an Si(Li) detector. The measured values are compared with the theoretical ones calculated using WinXcom. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
