New simple A4 neutrino model for nonzero θ13 and large δCP

摘要
In a new simple application of the non-Abelian discrete symmetry A(4) to charged-lepton and neutrino mass matrices, we show that for the current experimental central value of sin(2)2 theta(13) similar or equal to 0.1, leptonic CP violation is necessarily large, i.e., vertical bar tan delta(CP)vertical bar > 1.3. This result is of broad interest because CP violation in the leptonic sector is closely connected to the origin of the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe through leptogenesis.
