摘要
Visible-light-induced CdTe/TiO2 photocatalysts were synthesized under multibubble sonoluminescence (MBSL) condition. The morphology, phase and optical properties of the products have been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, field emission scan electron microscope, UV-vis absorption spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The results showed that as-prepared nanoparticles are well-crystallized with a better size distribution. In addition, the photocatalytic activities of products were evaluated using the photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B as a probe reaction. The results showed that the products synthesized under MBSL condition exhibited higher photocatalytic activities than those without MBSL irradiation. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
