摘要
Since holography was invented by Denis Gabor in 1948, holography technology has been developing fast during the succeeding six decades for the ability of whole information recording and three-dimensional display, so as to apply in many fields widely. Holographic display technology raises a new climax and attracts more and more researchers to devote themselves to the exploration of digital holography technology and real time three-dimensional holography technology. In this paper, not only the genesis and developmental process of holography technology are reviewed, but also the application and outcome of holographic display technology in the display field are highlighted.
