摘要
This paper designs a magnetoelectric (ME) dipole leaky wave antenna (LWA) based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology for millimeter-wave application. The proposed antenna, which has 24 elements of ME dipoles and transverse slots, is built on a two-layer printed circuit board. The two shorting vias are adopted to load the LWA unit for eliminating the open stopband. The designed antenna works at 28 GHz band with wide impedance bandwidth of 34.5%. The simulation results demonstrate that the beam scanning range is from -39 degrees to +37 degrees at the whole operating band.
