摘要
In the course of the last few years, the profusion of bills called "School Without Party" reveals questions about the Brazilian school. Objections that, in general, have been inclined to criticize the supposed political use of educational institutions and to defend notions such as "educational neutrality" and "ideological disengagement in pedagogical practice". Considering the projection reached by such propositions, it is worth questioning the political sense of an educational initiative that seeks to eliminate what it characterizes as "political-ideological contamination" of Brazilian schools. This article presents research results on the program developed by the organization Escola Sem Partido, founded in 2004. Through documentary and bibliographic research, the work scans the power relations and class interests that permeate the proposal. Thus, it uses the contribution of authors such as Antonio Gramsci and Florestan Fernandes, references that highlight the relevance of the political-economic dimension in educational analysis.
