摘要：

This paper studies nodal price and nodal reliability in a deregulated power system. The impact of random failures in a composite power system on nodal prices is investigated. Reliability assessment approach and optimal power flow techniques are combined to determine the expected nodal price and the associated expected nodal risk. The price fluctuation and the corresponding probability for each system state are also considered.
