摘要:
International Joint Ventures (IJVs) have become an important means of market entry for many firms. As such, it is important to understand what causes some IJVs to fail and others to succeed. One of the key antecedents of IJV performance is conflict between the IJV partners. Other key antecedents of IJV performance include partners' needs, commitment and control. This study focuses on these key antecedents and examines the impact that partners' needs, commitment and control have on joint venture conflict. The multiple regression analysis revealed that IJV conflict was significantly influenced by partners' needs, commitment and control.
