摘要
Two anhydrous polymorphs (AH-I, AH-II) and one monohydrate (MH) of a molecular salt involving phenazopyridine and salicylic acid, are reported. The charge-assisted N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond provides the main driving force for the direct binding of the two compounds. AH-I is the stable anhydrous form with a low hygroscopicity, a high solubility and a simple preparation method.
