摘要
Through physical model test, this paper studied the wave overtopping on smooth impervious single slope and complex slope under irregular wave action. The research demonstrated that wave overtopping and wave run-up almost had the same influence factors and the variation laws with the main factors were also similar, which showed that adoption of two main factors, wave run-up and dike top superelevation, could well reflect variation laws of wave overtopping. The wave overtopping calculation formula under irregular wave was also proposed in this paper. Comparing the calcluation results with model test results of over fourty practical projects, the formula had good calcuation accuracy and could provide reference for project design.
