摘要
In this paper, a novel joint DOA(direction of arrival) and frequency estimation method is presented for multiple signals impinging on a uniform linear sensor array. We first establish a two-dimensional sparse model. In this model, the signal can be expressed as a product of two separated over-complete dictionaries and a coefficient matrix based on the sparsity in the spatial and frequency domain. Then an extended orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP) algorithm is proposed to estimate frequency and DOA by exploiting the sparse structure of coefficient matrix. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve high resolution and accuracy in both frequency and DOA estimation in the low SNR regime compared to the two-layers compressed sensing method.
