摘要
Transformer substation is an important part of the electric power system. It has great influence on power system security operation. A method of building the integrated simulation platform based on virtual prototyping technology is presented. With this platform, the 3-D digitized model for the substation and its major facilities can be easily constructed. The substation inspection simulation will be implemented as well. The practice indicates that this simulation platform can be applied to the design, construction, operation of the substation and the related personnel training. It's shown that the platform has good performance with high modeling precision, effective real-time rendering and vivid simulation effect. These advantages have benefits to the optimizing of the solution, shortening the development cycle, enhancing the capability of the substation, saving the energy and emission-reduction. Therefore the simulation system is of high utilization and can be wildly used in many fields.
