摘要
Parallel current in an anisotropic high-beta extremely low aspect ratio tokamak plasma is calculated from the linearized drift kinetic equation. It is found that it depends on the radial gradients of the parallel plasma pressure and the magnetic field strength. It can be expressed as the sum of the bootstrap current and the Pfirsch-Schluter current. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S1070-664X(99)02410-6].
