摘要
Gold nanoparticles deposited on a TiO2 single-crystalline substrate as model structure of Au/TiO2 catalysts were observed by HAADF-STEM (high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscope) to investigate the interface structure. The atomic columns of Au and Ti were clearly identified, and the distance between the Au and Ti layers at the interface with the relationship of Au(1 11)[1-10]//TiO2(110)[001] was estimated as 0.33 nm. The interface structure was discussed from the viewpoint of the status of oxygen atoms. Copyright (C) 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
