UNIQUE PROJECT OF SINGLE-CUTTING HEAD LONGWALL SHEARER USED FOR THIN COAL SEAMS EXPLOITATION

Problem of thin hard coal seams exploitation, including chosen data related with their resources in Poland, has been discussed in the introduction of the present study. On the basis of actually operated machines the assumptions, which should be satisfied by the longwall shearer used for exploitation of thin hard coal seams, have been made. A project of such longwall shearer combined with band conveyor and mechanized longwall support, including description of the machine operation technology and analysis of possible day output achievement, have been presented.
