摘要
This article presents a new method for excitation of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity resonators which is suitable for multilayer structures and provides a method for exciting SIW cavities.The structure is analyzed and its equivalent circuit is presented to give a better insight of the structure's response through circuit theory. The analytical discussion is validated by simulations using Ansoft HFSS and ADS softwares. A three-pole narrowband SIW filter has been designed by this method of cavity coupling as one of possible applications of the presented structure. (c) 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
