摘要：

Along with the computer, communication, the rapid development of Internet technology, especially the new media technology for the rapid development, these provide new opportunities and challenges for the modem distance education, and provide solid technical support in remote education concept realization by the use of new media technology. This paper explains the role of new media technology, combining with the advantages of remote education, discusses the actual new media technology in the significance of the long-distant education, and analyses the new media in the application of remote education with Streaming media technology application for example.
