摘要
An electrocoagulation(EC) process combining vortex coagulation, dissolving air flotation (DAF) and contacting filtration is developed to treat source water with low turbidity and car-washing wastewater. EC, DAF and filtration process are carried out simultaneously in a single reactor. The design of the reactor makes it possible to process waters with different quality. For low turbidity water, EC, vortex coagulation and filtration process are operated in the reactor, while EC, vortex coagulation, DAF and filtration process are carried out for car-washing wastewater. Effect of operating parameters on the removal efficiency such as pH, electric current (I) or voltage (U), electrolytic time (t), and installation of perforated plates are investigated in this study. And the optimal conditions for treatment of the above mentioned waters are determined. The comparative tests of the new process and chemical coagulation process are also discussed. Results suggested that the process is superior to chemical coagulation with better removal effect and lower dosage of coagulants, but the new process increases the cost of power.
