摘要
Big Data technologies provide new opportunities to enable improved methods and facilities for raising the quality and efficiency of healthcare services. The specific characteristics of health data and information, their huge amount and diversity of sources have imposed the intensive use of Big Data Analytics in the health domain. Health software applications have become sustainable and compulsory tools for providing better healthcare delivery. This paper brings forward the boost brought by the potential use of Big Data Analytics inside some Romanian health informatics systems.
