摘要
In this paper we proposed a new spectrum sensing method to be used for TV white space signal detection for cognitive radio network. The proposed method based on distribution analysis using kurtosis as test statistic. Sensing algorithm was tested using real computed DTV signal. Result shows that our method performs well at low SNR, even below -20 dB it achieves probability of detection of 90% for 10 % Probability of false alarm. It also gives benefit in much simple implementation since it doesn't need knowledge of primary signal's parameters.
