摘要
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were oxidized for removal of Al(III) from aqueous solution through batch experiment. The effect of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, and temperature on the adsorption was investigated. The optimum pH for adsorption of Al(III) was found to be 4.0. The adsorption kinetic of Al(III) onto COOH-MWCNTs fitted with the pseudo-second-order model and the experimental results showed good correlation with the Langmuir model. The maximum adsorption capacity for Al(III) was obtained as 104.16mgg(-1.)
