摘要
In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian differential equation, (phi(p)(u ''))'(t) = q(t) f(t, u(t), u'(t), u ''(t)). 0 <= t <= 1, subject to the following multipoint generalized right-focal boundary condition, u(0) = Sigma(m)(i=1)alpha(i)u(xi(i)), u'(eta) = 0, u ''(1) = Sigma(n)(i=1)beta(i)u ''(theta(i)), by applying a monotone iterative method. We not only obtain the existence of positive solutions for the problem, but also establish iterative schemes for approximating the solutions. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
