摘要
This work details the design and construction of a dual-polarization, continuous-wave, monostatic, software-defined radar system. The platform is built around the Ettus Research USRP-B210, which provides 30MHz of signal bandwidth at carrier frequencies ranging between 70MHz and 6GHz. The reconfigurable nature of the USRP is exploited to realize a radar with programmable waveforms. Radar measurements of an approximately known target response are conducted in the laboratory using an emulated target in a cabled system for validation of the system design.
