Business process and shop floor re-engineering

For companies, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) is becoming a technique to attaining a competitive advantage. But BPR is too often related to specific process while it should ensure a global performance by covering multi-processes. By combining local view with global one, and moreover, by combining physical view of the enterprise with its associated decisional part, GRAI approach allows to introduce the Business System Re-engineering (BSR) concepts. The approach has been successfully applied in a lot of industrial experiments. One of the most recent one has contribute to demonstrate the efficiency of the approach in the domain of Shop-floor.
