摘要
This paper analyzes the defaults of the common methods used for system safety assessment. Assessment method based on the Artificial Neural Network is compared with Fuzzy Comprehensive Assessment approach. Through analyzing the limitation of the Artificial Neural Network, such as searching depth and optimizing method of weight value, a new assessment model for system safety based on the artificial neural network and genetic algorithm is established by introducing GA into ANN, which overcomes the limitation of single-searching and weight-processing of ANN. An example is given to explain how to use this model and the results show that this model is reliable.
