摘要
In order to verify the dissolution mechanism of Pt in the electrode of PEMFC, the distributions of migrated platinum particles in the electrolyte membrane were investigated. The migrated platinum was observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM) after long-term operations under various operation conditions. Experimental results show that a large amount of Pt can be dissolved from cathode by chemical oxidation under excess O-2. The distribution and particle size of migrated Pt are strongly dependant on H-2 and O-2 partial pressures. Possibility of Pt dissolution from anode is also appeared from observation of the MEA operated under lean H-2 condition.
