A new algorithm for time domain equalization in OFDM systems

摘要
In this paper, the, problem of, time domain equalization in OFDM systems with insufficient cyclic prefix is discussed. A new algorithm is. proposed to produce maximum throughput. This. algorithm has two, major steps: firstly, the, maximum signal-to-interference-plus-ratio ratio (SINR), in time domain is computed; secondly, the coefficients, of the time, domain, equalizer. is, determined by, an iterative process. that minimizes a SINR-related cost function. Simulation results show, that. the proposed algorithm is able to produce an improved, throughput performance, than some, existing algorithms.
