On gas liquid two-phase flow field characteristic of slotted orifice

摘要：
Based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology, Gambit and Fluent 6.0 are used to simulate gas liquid two-phase flow behavior across the slotted orifice.. The dynamic pressure, static pressure and density contour in the slotted orifice flow meter are given. The characteristics of the sensor are analyzed and some results are obtained. Compared with standard orifice, the slotted orifice shows a well-behaved manner as a flow sensor. The conclusion is available to the development of slotted orifice meter.
