摘要
Opto-electronic devices now use nanocomposite materials more frequently for many applications. In this study, we examined the structural and optical characteristics of binary metal selenide that contains Nb2O5. CuBiSe/Nb2O5 was created using a hydrothermal method, and solvothermal method was used to create the CuBiSe nanoparticles. Using XRD analysis, the average crystallite size and element confirmation were investigated. The morphology and elemental composition of the sample are revealed by SEM with EDX analysis. When compared to pure CuBiSe and CuBiSe/Nb2O5 nanocomposite, the UV absorption spectra exhibits a red shift with a reduced bandgap, and the band gap energy was also determined using Tauc's plot. The FTIR spectrum matched the stretching and vibration bonding of the metals Cu, Nb, and Se. Copyright (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
