摘要
The microstructure modeling during thermo-mechanical processing of high-Nb HSLA steels has been developed to predict austenite recrystallization, grain size and precipitation. When rolled at higher temperatures with reasonable rolling schedule, high-Nb steels often display the typical behaviour of dynamic and metadynamic recrystallization (DRX+MRX) followed by strain accumulation again, which can not only intensely refine austenite grain size but also greatly increase the strain accumulation effect. The transformed microstructures in high-Nb steel, comprising fine acicular ferrite and quasi-polygonal ferrite in a relatively wide range of cooling rate, are markedly different in shape, morphology and volume fraction of each phase from those in low-Nb steel.
