摘要
Non-invasive ultrasound imaging systems have been widely used in detection of various tissue abnormalities since the v are safe and informative. In this project a special purpose transducer has been designed to work in 800 KHz for investigation of hard tissue abnormalities. Thirty-two piezoelectric components are used as both transmitters and receivers. At each time one transducer transmits while others receive. The data is used for 3D image reconstruction of small bones. The data capturing part together with the image reconstruction software have to be fast enough in order to provide a real time display for the physician. This paper focuses on the design of the front-end architecture.
