摘要
This paper describes the concept of a highly reconfigurable digital-front-end (DFE) enabling multi-mode capable RF receivers for cellular applications, based on the well known direct conversion receiver (DCR) architecture. Its key Natures includes sample-rate-conversion, channel selection filtering, dynamic range control, imbalance correction and matched filtering. A special focus is put onto the fractional sample-rate-converter, which generates exact 2 times or 4 times chip/symbol-rate at the DFE's digital output.
