摘要
Making light work: Three novel W/Nb mixed-addendum polyoxometalates, which all contain the {SiNb3W9O40} cluster, have been synthesized by conventional aqueous methods. Visible-light photocatalytic H2 evolution activity (see figure) was observed for two of the compounds, with H2PtCl6 as a cocatalyst and triethylamine as a sacrificial electron donor.
