Interaction of two quasi-solitons in semiconductor-doped optical fibres

摘要
Interaction of two quasi-solitons in semiconductor-doped optical fibres is investigated using the perturbation approach. Results are compared to numerical simulations. Quasi-soliton collapse distance is discussed for three different cases and soliton fusion is observed both for upper and lower quasi-soliton branches. Two-photon absorption influence on quasi-soliton fusion is investigated.
