摘要:
This paper presents a new approach for using the time slots to enhance QoS functionality and increase the efficiency of channel time. The proposed method provides the Enhanced Contention Access Period (ECAP) that is defined over the interval of non-allocated channel time. It uses the Enhanced Contention Access Period (ECAP) to retransmit the failed streams or send unfinished frame transmissions within the Channel Time Access Period (CTAP). As a result, it can give the effect of improving the data throughput by making use of channel time more effectively.
