摘要
A modern description of molar excess properties is reducible to the Margules concept of representing the partial pressure of the components of mixtures by power series, Unifying to a common parameter set for representing all component properties is possible, Generalization to multicomponent systems may be performed easily. The temperature dependence of the excess Gibbs energy, G(ex)(T,X), and of the enthalpy of mixing, Delta(mix)H(ex)(T,X), was incorporated, Application is illustrated with mass spectrometric data for liquid Au-Co alloys and with calorimetric data for liquid binary Sb-Sn and ternary Fe-Ni-Zr alloys, These three different application types demonstrate the usefulness, reliability, and powerfulness of the generalized Margules concept.
