A nonmedical follow-up of the children born through ART is recommended by guidelines to evaluate any consequences, whether beneficial or harmful, of their mode of conception. Governed by medical confidentiality, according to the CNIL, this follow-up should not be done only through a questionnaire but by a direct relation with a healthcare professional.
