摘要:
The ionic conductivity and mechanical performance are two challenging subjects of the present study of alkaline polymer electrolytes (APEs). In this paper, we report our recent progress in the structural design of APE. On the one side, by designing the self-crosslinking structure, we have achieved APEs with exceptional stabilities in both the mechanical strength and the ionic conductivity, which enables the operation of APE at 90 degrees C. On the other side, by introducing hydrophobic side chains, we have established efficiently-connected ionic channels in the APE and thus significantly increase the ionic conductivity, which is comparable to that of Nafion at 80 degrees C.
