摘要
Removal of baseline wander is an important preprocessing step before manually or automatically interpreting Electrocardiography (ECG) records. However, baseline wander is usually mingled with the low-frequency part of ECG, which makes it difficult to fully remove baseline wander while preserving the original clinic information. To solve this problem, a real-time approach based on Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is presented in this paper. Experimental results on both simulated ECG and real ECG records of PTB database show that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance in terms of preserving the original clinic information than those of well-know wavelet-based methods.
