摘要
The goal of this research was to evaluate the bupivacaine-fentanyl and lidocaine-morphine combinations administered epidurally in bitches submitted to ovariohysterectomy (OH). Eighteen bitches classified as ASA I (American Society of Anesthesiologists) were randomly divided into two groups of 9 ones. All were premedicated with acepromazine (0.1 mg/kg) and induced with propofol (4 mg/kg) intravenously; Group A received the combination of morphinelidocaine (0.1 and 2 mg/kg) and group B fentanyl-bupivacaine 1,5 mg/kg en vez de 1,65 mg/kg... tin epidural injection. Ventral OH was performed. Heart rate and transoperative mean arterial pressure were recorded every 3 minutes and postoperative pain scores were recorded using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) for the first 5 hours. A time-repeated measures analysis was applied with SPSS 22.0. The overall mean heart rate was 102 beats per minute (bpm) (1.0.95%: 95-109 bpm) without significant differences according to the time of measurement or treatment (P> 0.05). Mean arterial pressure had a mean of 71 mmHg (95%Cl: 67-76mmHg) with significant differences according to the time of measurement (P<0.05) and not of the treatment (P>0.05), observing states of hypotension in Group A at the end of the experiment. Pain scores ranged from 28.9 +/- 9 to 32.8 +/- 12.3 points, being classified as mild discomfort and mild pain, with significant differences in favor of the morphine-lidocaine group (P<0.05). It is concluded that both strategies promote adequate analgesia, however, a better hemodynamic condition was observed in the group treated with bupivacaine-fentanyl.
