摘要
The number of flying disc players is growing worldwide; there about 60 million recreational players and about 7 million serious competitors. More than 1.5 million play in Japan. Another point is the adoption of the flying disc in the world games, considered to be the second Olympiad. Training for disc throw remains ad hoc; experts coach novices by example and/or oral guidance. No scientific approach is evident. Our research aims at using motion capture to differentiate the form of experts and novices, and then create instructions for novices as to how improve their form efficiently and effectively.
