摘要
In this paper, the effectiveness of radiated EMI prediction methods from measured common-mode (CM) currents proposed by Clayton R. Paul [1] and S. Deng, et al. [2] are evaluated and compared. The accuracy of the radiated EMI prediction obtained from each method is compared with the experimental results tested in the standard semi-anechoic chamber. From the experimental results, it can be concluded that the method proposed by [2] has high accuracy of EMI prediction comparing with the method proposed by [1] in terms of both horizontal and vertical polarizations. Especially for the horizontal polarization, the predicted result using [2] is in a good agreement with the experimental results from 30 MHz - 50 MHz, but it gives an error about 20 dB mu V difference from 50 MHz - 1 GHz. Similarly, for the vertical polarization, the method proposed by [2] gives an error about 15 dB mu V at 30 MHz - 50 MHz, and about 20 dB mu V at 50 MHz - 1 GHz, respectively.
